The Mistral 33 was designed during Harry Hallberg’s era. She had a GRP hull, while the superstructure was built in high-gloss varnished mahogany, except the very first boat that was entirely built of wood.
The Mistral 33 was designed by Olle Enderlein. The handicap rules for racing were completely ignored. Instead, a neat cruising boat with keel and rudder separated, a sugar-scoop-style transom, and a beautiful wooden superstructure was created.
The yacht has a u-shaped sofa on one side and a straight settee on the opposite side. With its high-gloss varnished superstructure in mahogany, the Mistral 33 is the boat for those who appreciate beautiful, timeless lines and wonderful woodwork.
