The Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins 2016
All Hallberg-Rassy sailors are invited to join the 2016 edition of The Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins 17-18 June 2016. Last year was a record when it comes to participating boats and sailorts. We hope 2016 will be as good. In 2015, 30 boats and 71 sailors from seven countries joined the rally. Everybody had a real good time.
As the tradition says, the program will be the same for 2016: Two dinners included in the start fee: on Friday and Saturday evening. There is no time keeping and only winners. Every boat will win some kind of category. Prizes were generous. Last year it included for example a folding bicycle, a chart plotter, an inverter, a portable fridge, a sprayhood, life vests, led lights, tool kits, sailing clothes, and a lot more.
All participating boats will win some kind of category. Instead of racing or time keeping, there are as many categories as boats. One category is crazier than the other. That could include for example Happiest Crew, Oldest Boat, Youngest Crewmember and a lot more.
There will be no time keeping, you may use or not use gannaker, code zero, spinnaker or even use the engine if you think that is useful.
The fee for participation is a low 520 SEK per boat plus 595 SEK per person onboard. That also includes, apart from generous prizes, two dinners with beverage and after sail.
Please write boat type, boat name, number of persons onboard, and give us your Visa, Eurocard or Mastercard number, expiry date, CVX2-code (CVX2-code are the three last digits right of the signature on the backside of the card), name, address, phone number, email address and your written OK for us charging you the above mentioned amount. For safety reasons we do not want you to email text with facts about your credit card. Please send either a scanned hand written letter or a photo of it to firstname.lastname@example.org . Within Sweden, payment with Bankgiro is preferred, 541-2051
